Shrek the Musical Jr. Summer Production Camp
(2-week camp) Give your child the chance to shine on stage! This exciting camp lets students ages 7–14 experience the full journey of a musical production—from auditions to final performance—under the guidance of an incredible directorial team. Every camper receives a role, and gets to act, sing, and dance in a fun, supportive environment. This fast-paced camp is a wonderful place for young actors to get started, or for more seasoned performers to hone their skills and grow. This Year’s Show: Shrek The Musical JR. Beauty is in the eye of the ogre! Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and the Broadway hit, Shrek JR. is a "big bright beautiful world" where everyone's favorite ogre leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and discover true acceptance. Part romance, part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is irreverently fun with a powerful message for the whole family. Once upon a time, in a faraway swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. When his home is overrun by banished fairytale misfits cast off by the tiny terror Lord Farquaad, Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad. He’s tasked with rescuing the feisty Princess Fiona—if he succeeds, his swamp will be restored. Along the way, Shrek discovers friendship, love, and that every fairytale has a few unexpected twists! In Drama Quest: Adventures!, little adventurers set sail for the ocean’s mysteries, blast off to distant planets, and journey through lands filled with magic and make-believe. Each day brings a new theme, bursting with theater games, songs, arts and crafts, and playful storytelling. Campers will laugh, imagine, and create as they discover adventures big and small—where every quest is a chance to shine! Camp Details:

Traveling Trunk Theater!
Calling all young actors ready to bring a story to life! In Traveling Trunk Theater, campers will dive into the full theater experience—working with a script, creating props and costumes, staging a play, and performing for family on the final day of camp. This half-day camp emphasizes the creative process over the final product, giving actors the freedom to explore, collaborate, and have fun while learning all aspects of theater. Camp Details:

Comedy Camp!
Laugh it up in this super popular comedy camp designed for actors who love to be funny—or just love to have fun! Campers will dive into traditional theater games, improv comedy, clowning, jokes, bad dancing, and plenty of laughs. Fun with Puppets Camp
Step into a world of puppet magic! In this camp, young performers will create their very own puppet to keep, explore lively character work, and experiment with movement and storytelling. Under the guidance of CKT Guest Director Rio whose work with the Seattle Children’s Theater included puppetry. Campers will play, imagine, and bring their characters to life in a supportive and creative environment. The week wraps up with a fun performance for family and friends on the last afternoon. Drama Quest: Treasure Chest!
Join CKT for a week-long adventure unlocking the treasures hidden in your imagination! In this playful and creative camp, young actors will dive into drama games, storytelling, movement, character creation, and hands-on crafts as they explore the foundations of theater. Each day, we’ll open our magical treasure chest to discover a brand-new adventurous theme—anything from daring pirates sailing the high seas, to wizards-in-training inspired by Hogwarts, to quests in lands far, far away. With every new surprise, campers will imagine boldly, collaborate with new friends, and bring exciting characters and worlds to life. Our week concludes with a special treasure hunt—followed by a cozy Friday movie afternoon to celebrate a fantastic week of imagination, creativity, and fun! Camp Details:

Back by popular demand! Join Cafeteria Kids Theater for a week of singing and dancing your heart out as we explore songs and dances from both classic and contemporary Broadway hits. This fun, fast-paced camp is led by Music Direction by Broadway and Disney Veteran Vivian B. McLaughlin, and Director Olivia Cowell giving campers a joyful, professional theater experience.
